Mazda Experience

SpeedSource has specialized in Mazda racing since its inception. Throughout the late '90s, continual development of the 2nd generation Mazda RX-7 produced a national market for the ITS class car, engines, and components. SpeedSource built over 50 Mazda RX-7s and dominated club racing, winning the SCCA ITS ARRC championship in 1998 and 1999.

SpeedSource also developed the 3rd generation Mazda Twin-Turbo RX-7, and again produced on-track results and built a market base for race parts. Endurance racing from 1996 through 1998 saw the two-car team score numerous poles, podium finishes, and the 1998 team championship in the Speedvision Cup.

SpeedSource Facilities

SpeedSource is strategically located in the city of Coral Springs in South Florida between Palm Beach International Raceway and the Miami-Homestead Speedway; just hours from Daytona and Sebring. Excluding paint and body work, each SpeedSource car is built entirely in-house in a state-of-the-art stand-alone, 50,000-square foot facility on 3.5 acres. Because all necessary fabrication and development equipment is on-site, SpeedSource has the depth of expertise to strictly control both the development and production processes. Featuring a full machine shop with two Mazak CNC machines, SpeedSource has the ability to produce custom parts on demand. Start-to-finish in-house capacity also provides the needed flexibility to respond quickly to rule changes, and ensure sufficient testing, and optimize the performance of the cars and equipment throughout the season.

Engine Development

SpeedSource combines industry-leading engine development with year-round testing. Our fully equipped machine shop and rotary engine experience have produced proven mechanical reliability. Our talented staff has an extensive engine management background and Motec data acquisition expertise. Parts list generation, cost and mass control, purchasing, and quality assurance can be custom tailored to any engine supply program.

Suspension Development

SpeedSource knows that investment in testing and development produces results. In close relationship with the technical partnership with Dynamic Suspensions and Multimatic Group, with access to a 7-post test rig and the latest technology, along with our in-house shock dynamometer is a key part of the many successes of our professional and club programs.

The modern transporters are kept in meticulous shape to proudly represent our sponsors. Each rig can carry all major spares and parts, welding and set-up equipment enables extensive at-track repairs. The SpeedSource paddock is fully canopied, with side curtains and plastic tile flooring.
